Tourism is based on the famous Castle and Church, since Vasco Gama was christened in parish church of Sines. His father was the alcaide-mor of the castle. Near this city, you will find also famous beaches such as Porto Covo, Ilha do Pessegueiro and São Torpes. For the fans of water sports, they will find options of surf and kitsurf.
